A Yahoo widget which can be installed on internet enabled TV's (i.e. the newer Samsung's, Sony etc.) to watch TEDx video's from the Youtube channel.
Selection via Geographical location (i.e. Continent / Country / TEDxOrganizer), or search based on tags.
Looking for some help to get me started. Not sure if anyone has developed any widgets for internet TV's before ?

Are you referring to Yahoo Connected TV widget?
I'd like to play with the WDK myself. But widget submission seems limited to a few countries.

Yes, however I am trying to figure out the differences. It looks like the TV's here are not really using the Yahoo widgets, but the use the Samsung widgets, some of which may have come originally from the Yahoo widget. Pretty confusing. The Samsung and Yahoo websites don't help to clarify too much either. I have downloaded the Virtual Machine and the TV simulator, and am trying to dissect the available widgets.
