Guess the ___ Character

Page history last edited by Vinnie Lauria 12 years, 11 months ago

Description:

There's an old (but fun) game on the internet, called  "Guess the Evil Dictator or TV Sitcom Character".  You assume an identity of your favorite dictator or character, and the website proceeds to ask you a bunch of yes/no questions to guess who you are.  Sorta like 20 questions.  If it guesses wrong, it asks you to provide 1 last yes/no question that could have helped it guess correctly.  So the system gets smarter as more people use it.

I thought this could be a great project if localized to Singapore or the Asian market.  It can be a website, iphone app, or both.  Something text based could be up and running in just a few hours.  There's no business model, it's nothing serious, just fun!

Sounds like http://en.akinator.com/
But doing it just for the fun would probably be a cool idea.

that reply above is cause the link was sorta breaking the page :p Nice Hack. Whenever I clicked below in the reply box, the site would load - You win the 1st to hack award!!!

So yeah, this is exactly what i was thinking, didn't know an app existed for it. I would love to see this idea tweaked for the local SG scene. Any thoughts? If it was pre-elections, then something around the elections would have been perfect.

I'm interested in this. I might be able to use the Hunch API http://hunch.com/developers/v1/docs/
