The TED conference has become quite "smug" over the last few years. While I enjoy many of the videos, the conference itself has a really elitist attitude to it.
So I propose a fake mock-website, called "TAD: Perfection Worth Spreading". Only a few pages need to be created, and it will be launched at the time of the Global TED conference mid-July. A corresponding Twitter account will be useful to spread the message.
Seriously, just go here and think of all the possible satire.
On the plus side, I think this could get get a lot of publicity once it goes live. On the downside, we have a decent chance of being banned from TED.
