Java General Playlist Parser

Page history last edited by Daniel Wong 12 years, 4 months ago

There are many playlist parser formats e.g. pls, m3u, xspf, asx etc. etc..

The idea is to write (and maintain) a general playlist parser that will read (possibly even write) all types of playlists presented to it.

I have a vested interest in this.

I wrote a Internet Radio application in C, but so far can't find the equivalent in Java or in Android or anywhere else for that matter.

I WOULD appreciate if anybody knew otherwise.

I have the concept of this but am somewhat new to Java.

Also, writing this kind of libary should be for a much wider scope than just a single app so that idea is to make it available to the app developer community in order to enable developing richer multimedia applications.

Regards.
